Then, there will be another stop concerning another milestone of the Italian cuisine, that is an “acetaia”, that is where they produce balsamic vinegar, the traditional D.O.P. one which makes Modena famous all over the world: at the end of this visit you will be perfectly able to recognize and distinguish many different type and aging of vinegar, even knowing everything about the production.
Later will be the time for “Prosciutto”, another gem of this area, just to unveil many different and delicious hams, including Prosciutto di Modena and Prosciutto di Parma, both D.O.P.; you will definitely be fascinated by the long and strict production process (please note that some rooms are cold storage!!!)
Little by little, it will the time for lunch and… what a lunch! A real and genuine Italian lunch in a “Trattoria” or in an Organic winery (certified) placed both in the countryside, just to enjoy the real spirit of Italy and the authentic Italian Light lunch (light ;) )as the perfect conclusion after this full-of-experience day.
